Opening of the Comprehensive City Tax Service Counter

Starting August 1, 2025, a new Comprehensive City Tax Service Counter will be available. This counter will consolidate the services of the Tax Collection Division, Municipal Tax Division, and Property Tax Division. To improve efficiency and enhance services for residents, selected counter and telephone operations will be outsourced to an experienced private service provider, allowing us to leverage their expertise in service delivery.

Outsourced Services

The outsourced services include issuing tax certificates, accepting tax payments, and handling phone inquiries related to these services.

(Note: All consultations regarding city taxes will continue to be handled by city staff.)

Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 4:30 PM

(Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and from December 29 to January 3)

Other points to note

There will be no changes to how you apply or complete procedures at the counter.
Strict confidentiality and data protection measures have been included in our outsourcing contract with the external service provider. They are required to handle all personal information with the utmost care. As always, you can continue to use our services with confidence.
