まん延防止等重点措置の解除についての市長コメント（2022年3月18日）

3月21日（月曜日）まで延長されていた茨城県のまん延防止等重点措置について、同日をもって解除することが発表されました。県内の感染状況は高止まりとなっていますが、大井川知事は、高齢者の割合が減少していること、病床稼働数が減少していることから、医療体制への負荷と社会経済活動に与える影響を総合的に判断して、国に措置の解除を要請していました。
22日（火曜日）以降は、飲食店への営業時間短縮要請、感染リスクの高い場所への外出・移動の自粛要請などは解除されます。

多くの方にご協力いただいたおかげで、茨城県における「まん延防止等重点措置」については解除されましたが、市内感染者数は依然として高い数字となっております。市民の皆様におかれましては、引き続き基本的な感染防止の徹底にご協力をお願いいたします。

Mayor’s comment regarding lifting of intensive COVID measures (March 18, 2022)

It was announced that the intensive COVID measures that were extended until Monday, March 21 for Ibaraki Prefecture would be lifted on 21st as scheduled. Although daily cases in Ibaraki Prefecture remain high, both the number of elderly people becoming infected and the occupancy rate of hospital beds are decreasing. Based on a comprehensive assessment of the strain on the healthcare system and socio-economic impact, Ibaraki Governor Oigawa had requested the government to lift these measures earlier.

From Tuesday, March 22 onwards, the request for restaurants and bars to shorten their business hours has been cancelled, as has the request for residents to avoid going out to places with a high risk of infection.

Thanks to the cooperation of everybody in these requests, intensive COVID measures for Ibaraki Prefecture have been lifted. However, given the number of daily cases in Tsukuba City remains high, please continue to thoroughly observe basic preventative measures.
