茨城県知事による茨城県非常事態宣言解除についての市長コメント（2021年9月16日）

本日（9月16日）、大井川知事が記者会見を行い、9月26日（日曜日）を期限としていた、県独自の非常事態宣言を9月19日（日曜日）までで解除することが発表されました。県有施設については、原則として9月30日（木曜日）まで休館を継続しつつ、図書館・美術館等は感染防止対策を徹底したうえで再開されます。一方、9月30日（木曜日）までの国の緊急事態宣言に変更はありませんので、酒類提供等やカラオケ利用を停止しない店舗への休業要請、不要不急の外出・高リスク行動の自粛、飲食店や大規模集客施設の営業時間短縮等につきましては、引き続きご協力いただくことが呼びかけられました。

知事からもありましたように、皆様のご協力のおかげで、週平均の新規陽性者数の減少傾向は安定的に継続しており、病床稼働状況も改善しております。今後より一層感染拡大を防止していくため、市民の皆様、事業者の皆様におかれましては、各要請にご協力いただくとともに、引き続き最大限の感染防止の徹底をお願いいたします。

Mayor’s comment regarding the lifting of the Ibaraki Prefectural state of emergency declared by the Governor (September 16, 2021)

At a press conference today (September 16), Ibaraki Governor Oigawa announced that the Prefectural state of emergency declaration, which was due to end on Sunday, September 26, would be lifted on Sunday, September 19. In principle, Prefectural-owned facilities will remain closed until Thursday, September 30, while facilities such as libraries and art museums will reopen with thorough infection control measures in place.
However, the national state of emergency will remain in effect until Thursday, September 30 and the Governor requested that residents continue to avoid non-essential travel and activities that increase the risk of infection, and for bars, restaurants, and large commercial facilities to shorten business hours. Furthermore, he urged bars and restaurants that have not yet stopped offering alcohol and karaoke services to close for the duration of the national state of emergency.

As mentioned by the Governor, the average number of positive cases per week continued to decline stably and we saw an improvement in hospital bed occupancy situation thanks to everyone’s cooperation. To further prevent the spread of infection, we would like to ask our citizens and business owners to continue to cooperate with these requests, and to take all possible measures to prevent infection.
