茨城県知事による茨城県非常事態宣言および緊急事態宣言延長についての市長コメント（2021年9月9日）

本日（9月9日）、大井川知事が記者会見を行い、県独自の非常事態宣言を9月26日（日曜日）まで延長することが発表されました。延長の期間においても同様に、外食を控えてテイクアウト、すべての商業施設等の入場を通常時の2分の1に制限等が要請されています。また緊急事態宣言についても9月30日（木曜日）まで延長の見込みであるとし、引き続き、酒類提供等やカラオケ利用を停止しない店舗への休業要請、不要不急の外出・高リスク行動の自粛、飲食店や大規模集客施設の営業時間短縮等が要請されています。
(注意)その後、緊急事態宣言の延長が正式に決定されました。

知事からもありましたように、新規陽性者数は減少傾向であるものの、病床稼働数、特に重症病床稼働数については、引き続き予断を許さない状況です。命を救うため、県民一丸となった行動抑制が求められていることから、市民や事業者の皆様には、ご負担をおかけしますが、医療提供体制を守るため、各要請にご協力いただくとともに、引き続き最大限の感染拡大防止の徹底をお願いいたします。

Mayor’s comment regarding extension of Ibaraki Prefectural state of emergency declared by the governor and national state of emergency (September 9, 2021)

At a press conference today (September 9),
Ibaraki Governor Oigawa announced that he would extend the Prefectural state of emergency until Sunday, September 26. During the extended period, the governor urged that residents continue to avoid eating out and use delivery service, and all commercial facilities to limit their visitors to half of the usual number.
In addition, due to the prospect of the national state of emergency being extended,(Note) the Governor also requested that residents continue to avoid non-essential travel and activities that increase the risk of infection, and for bars, restaurants, and large commercial facilities to shorten business hours. Furthermore, he urged bars and restaurants that have not yet stopped offering alcohol and karaoke services to close for the duration of the state of emergency.
(Note)Please note that the official decision was made to extend the national state of emergency at a later date.

As the governor mentioned, although the number of new positive cases is declining, continued vigilance is required regarding hospital beds occupancy, especially critical care beds occupancy. In order to protect the lives of everyone, all residents of the Prefecture need to play their part in preventing the spread of infection. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for our citizens and business owners. However, in order to protect our healthcare system, we would like to ask to please cooperate with these requests, and to take all possible measures to prevent infection.
