茨城県知事による茨城県非常事態宣言延長についての市長コメント（2021年8月27日）

本日（8月27日）、大井川知事が記者会見を行い、茨城県非常事態宣言を9月12日（日曜日）まで延長することが発表されました。知事からは、未だ感染状況は収束の見通しが立たない状況であることから延長するとの説明がありました。延長の期間においても同様に、外食を控えテイクアウト、特にワクチン接種が済んでいない40～50代の方の出勤・外出の極力自粛、すべての商業施設等の入場を通常時の2分の1に制限等が要請されています。
また、学校については、リモートで対応することが示されましたので、先日お示しした市の方針通り9月12日までの期間を原則としてオンラインとします。

知事からもありましたように、大切な命を救うため、県民が一丸となった行動抑制が必要です。市民の皆様、事業者の皆様におかれましては、各要請にご協力いただくとともに、感染リスクの高い行動は必ず避けていただき感染防止を徹底していただくようお願いいたします。

Mayor’s comment regarding extension of Ibaraki Prefectural state of emergency declared by the Governor (August 27, 2021)

At a press conference today (August 27), Ibaraki Governor Oigawa announced that he would extend the Prefectural state of emergency until Sunday, September 12.  In terms of the reasoning for this decision, he explained that there was no prospect of controlling the spread of infection. During the extended period, the governor urged that residents continue to avoid eating out and use delivery service, residents in their 40s and 50s, especially those who are unvaccinated, to avoid commuting and going out as much as possible, and all commercial facilities to limit their visitors to half of the usual number.

Regarding schools, based on the Prefecture’s policy to hold classes remotely, schools in Tsukuba City will implement online classes until September 12 in principle, as notified earlier.

As the Governor pointed out, in order to protect the lives of everyone, all residents of the Prefecture need to play their part in preventing the spread of infection. We would like to ask all citizens and business owners to cooperate with these requests, avoid activities that increase the risk of infection and to take all possible measures to prevent infection.
