茨城県知事による飲食店の営業時間短縮要請等についての市長コメント（2021年1月12日）

本日、大井川知事が記者会見を行い、つくば市を含む感染拡大市町村における全ての飲食店を対象とした営業時間短縮要請を1月20日まで継続することが発表されました。要請内容は午後8時から午前5時までの営業自粛（酒類の提供は午後7時まで）となっています。1月13日から20日までの全期間にご協力頂いた場合、茨城県が協力金として1店舗当たり32万円を支給する予定です。

県内では感染拡大が続いています。市民や事業者の皆様におかれましては、引き続き感染予防策の徹底にご協力をお願いいたします。

Comment from the Mayor following the Ibaraki Governor’s request to close restaurants early (January 12, 2021)

Provisional Translation

In a press conference held today, Governor Oigawa requested restaurants in the areas where COVID-19 infections were spreading to continue to close early from January 13 to 20.  Tsukuba is now included in these areas. The request is for restaurants  to close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. (and to stop serving alcohol at 7 p.m.).  Ibaraki Prefecture will provide 320,000 yen per restaurant as a subsidy to restaurants that cooperate fully with the request from January 13 to 20.

COVID-19 infections continue to spread in the prefecture. We would like to ask residents and businesses in Tsukuba City to continue to cooperate with the measures against the spread of infection
