茨城県知事によるステージ3移行等についての市長コメント（2020年11月11日）

本日（11月11日）、大井川知事より、新型コロナウイルス感染症に関する茨城県の指標を総合的に判断し、県の対応をステージ3に強化することが発表されました。また、土浦市桜町の接待を伴う飲食店でクラスターが発生したことから、同エリアの飲食店を対象に集中検査を実施することも発表されています。
知事からは、改めて「いばらきアマビエちゃん」が掲示されている施設・店舗等を利用していただくこと、また、年末にかけて増えてくる季節行事における感染防止対策の徹底等のお願いがありました。

全国的に感染者が増加しており、県内でも、県南地域を中心に感染が拡大しています。市民の皆様には、引き続き社会的距離の確保、マスクの着用、手洗い、3密を避ける等の感染防止対策の徹底とともに、茨城県が呼びかけている「いばらきアマビエちゃん」の利用など感染拡大防止への取組にご協力をお願いいたします。

Comment from the Mayor of Tsukuba following the announcement by the Ibaraki Prefectural Governor on the transition to Stage 3 (November 11, 2020)

Today (November 11), Ibaraki Prefectural Governor Oigawa made a comprehensive judgement on the Prefecture’s indicators regarding COVID-19, and based on this announced that the Prefecture will be transitioning to Stage 3. He also announced that due to the outbreak of a cluster in entertainment establishments in the Sakura-machi area of Tsuchiura City, there will be a focused examination on restaurants and bars in the area.

The Governor has once again requested that citizens use establishments/shops displaying the “Ibaraki Amabie-chan” and also that they practice extra caution in preventing the further spread of the virus during the many events and occasions that take place towards the end of the year.

Infections are rising all over Japan, and in Ibaraki, infections are increasing especially in the southern parts of the prefecture. All citizens are requested to help prevent the spread of infection by continuing to maintain social distancing, wearing face masks, washing hands thoroughly, and avoiding 3Cs (closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact setting). Also, please register with “Ibaraki Amabie-chan” system, which is strongly encouraged to register by Ibaraki Prefecture.
