茨城県知事によるステージ2移行等についての市長コメント（2020年9月8日）

本日（9月8日）、大井川知事より、新型コロナウイルス感染症に関する茨城県の判断指標の多くで改善が見られることから対応をステージ2に緩和することが発表されました。また、県は東京都との不要不急の往来の自粛要請も解除し、引き続き適切な感染症対策の実施を求めることも発表しています。

また、県が実施していた天久保1丁目の飲食店集中検査についても終了が発表され、知事会見では天久保1丁目の安全宣言の言及もありました。集中検査では644名の検査が行われ16名陽性が確認されましたが、天久保1丁目関連では8月26日以降は県外での感染が推定される方を除き陽性事例は出ていません。

一方、本日市内では9月6日の事例の濃厚接触者2名の陽性が確認されています。ステージ2への緩和は行われましたが、引き続き社会的距離の確保、マスクの着用、手洗い、3密を避ける等の感染防止のための取組をよろしくお願いします。

Comment from the Mayor following the announcement of Ibaraki Prefecture (Sep.8, 2020)

Today (September 8), Ibaraki Governor Oigawa announced that the Prefectural Government will lower its COVID-19 response stage to Stage 2, given that many of the indicators to evaluate the situation related to COVID-19 have improved in Ibaraki Prefecture. The Governor has also withdrawn the request to refrain from all non-essential travel to and from Tokyo, and has announced that he will request to continuously implement all necessary measures to prevent further spread.

Meanwhile, the Prefecture has announced that it has completed its intensive examination of restaurants in the Amakubo 1-Chōme area, and it was mentioned at the Governor’s Press Conference that Amakubo 1-Chōme area has been ascertained to be safe. 644 people were examined, and although 16 people tested positive, since August 26 there have been no further positive cases related to Amakubo 1-Chōme with the exception of those who suspected to have contracted COVID-19 outside of Ibaraki Prefecture.

At the same time, 2 people tested positive in Tsukuba City today, due to close contact with people who had tested positive for COVID-19 on September 6th. Although the stage has been lowered to Stage 2, please continue to observe basic preventative measures such as maintaining social distance, wearing face masks, washing hands thoroughly and avoiding the 3 Cs (closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact setting).
